China is such a beautiful nation and we absolutely love this country. The cute pandas of Chengdu, picnic on the Great Wall of China, Disney land of Shanghai and the mesmerizing of Hangzhou are some of the places that would simply leave you spellbound. But many people share a concern before visiting China and that is the problem of the language. Well, very few of the tourist know the native language or Mandarin and for them the language barrier is something that makes them put off the trip. But trust us, language is the last thing that you have to worry about. Well, in any case, if you are still worried about it, here are a few tips that would definitely help you out. 1. Guesthouse/Hotel Card Hotels, guest houses and hostels all over the world have cards just like your business cards. Whenever you go out, take the card with you as they have all the contact details about the hotels and if you are travelling through taxi, show the driver the card and he would drop you at the front of the hotel. 2. Take Screenshots Don’t forget to take the screen shots of the name of the places where you are planning to visit. In this way, you have to show the driver the screenshot only and you are good to go. 3. Write Down The Necessary Train Details If you are planning to travel via railways during the trip, then jot down the number of the train, time and destination on paper. If something goes wrong, you can show the information to the railway staff as they are quite friendly and would provide you the necessary assistance. 4. Simply Ask if Anyone Knows English If you are badly stuck somewhere, simply ask if anybody knows English and you would find at least 4-5 people rushing towards you to help you out. The Chinese are really helpful people and for them, you are their guests. With that being said, these are a few tips that would really help you out if you got stuck in the mucky water while your trip to China due to language barrier.
